The Start

Dave and I spent years at Geek Squad Home Theater at Best Buy. Dave was there for two decades. I was there for six. We were good at what we did—really good. But both of us kept running into the same problem: we'd finish a perfect installation, walk out the door, and know the customer wouldn't be happy six months later because no one would follow up. Or we'd see corners cut because the next job was waiting. We knew we could do better.

A little over two years ago, we decided to find out. We left and started Nerd Tech Installs Inc. It wasn't about ego or money. It was about the work itself. We wanted to build something where every installation got the same care we'd give our own home. No shortcuts. No moving on to the next job before this one was truly finished. Just clean, professional work that actually holds up.
